You can flip back and forth between the two gain settings A and B - by clicking switch A or B. The LED (A or B) is indicating the active gain. The pedal is turned off, by clicking the switch (A or B) that is lit.

   The Tremster has been designed to sound like a vintage tube amp tremelo. Unlike many other tremelos that utilize opto-electronic designs, the Tremster uses a light-dependent resistor (LDR) to achieve it's deep, buttery, seductive tone. A flashing LED displays the selected speed setting, and allows a wide range of control from very slow to head-spinning fury. When the mode button is in the "normal" position, the Tremster has an aggresive/more sine wave type effect on the signal, coming down 100% in volume.
